100% Walkthrough (23 Trophies) - All Clues + Best Ending

I wrote down my playthrough as I went, to turn it into a full walkthrough. If you follow this guide, a single playthrough will unlock 23 of the 29 trophies. You'll also get the best (new) ending for Josh. The trophies still missing after that only depend on tiny variations in Chapters 9 and 10 - it doesn't get any easier than this! Not every choice I made is actually relevant. Whether Sam climbs over the wall quickly or slowly, for example, is up to you - the faster routes usually come with harder QTEs, though. For the Jessica chase, how you treat Josh (he must not be hurt in any way) and the therapy sessions especially, I'd recommend following the guide's choices, since otherwise you might miss some trophies.

Apparently Steam really doesn't like the word n·o·t (*cough*), which is why it gets censored with five hearts. Unfortunately I have no control over that, since German doesn't really have a fitting equivalent I could use instead. So now you know which word should be there whenever a censored bit shows up 🤪

• Interactive object #1 (camera) On the dining table behind the fireplace
• Death Totem #1 Follow Chris out the door, then out the back door in the hallway and down the stairs, then head towards the fence - the totem lies in front of it
• Interactive object #2 (laptop) On the kitchen counter (interact with it last, since it triggers the cutscene!)

Look at the note on the fence, then climb over the wall. Follow the path and hold still at the squirrel. Then keep following the path to the lower cable car station. In the cable car control room, look at the computer and the Blackwood Pines Hotel and Sanatorium poster to trigger the next scene, then board the cable car.

• Guidance Totem #1 At the forecourt, go up left towards the parked cars; left behind the truck at the fence lies the totem.
• Clue #1 “Wanted Poster” // “The Stranger” Hangs on the way to the shooting range, on the left outer wall of the ski lift.
